Mission Statement

McCurdy & Candler’s objective is to deliver superior legal services to its clients while continually surpassing all industry established performance standards. For more than half a century, the firm has enjoyed a reputation for producing work of consistent and outstanding quality. The firm’s focus is on its high level of commitment to exceeding its clients’ expectations by:

  • consistently outperforming their mandated timelines;
  • working with the clients using a “hands-on”, team approach at all levels of the firm; and
  • providing readily available communication access for its clients to the firm’s partners, attorneys, and staff.

The firm continues to achieve steady yet substantial growth without jeopardizing its high level of service and timelines.  It is committed to resolving troublesome transactions that can invariably arise during any phase of default servicing by providing the necessary legal expertise, innovative and creative approaches based on the understanding of its clients’ legal and business needs and goals.   The firm’s partners, attorneys and staff work closely with the clients to help them minimize any potential costly delays and/or impairments to their ability to protect their and their investors’ interests.

McCurdy & Candler provides its clients not only with the time and cost efficiency benefits and the varied legal expertise that large, regional firms can offer their clients, but the firm also provides the friendly, easy, attentive and open access that is more typical of a smaller firm.  The firm understands its clients’ business needs and expectations and takes whatever steps are necessary to accomplish the high level of standards of service at all levels of the firm – from the receptionist to the partners.  Mediocrity is not acceptable.
