Scott Candler, IV

George Scott Candler, IV has been with McCurdy & Candler, LLC since the spring of 2011 and practices in the firm’s real estate, estate planning, and small business/corporate departments.

Prior to McCurdy & Candler, “Scotty IV” practiced in the corporate division of King & Spalding, LLP. He is a 2010 graduate of the University of Virginia School of Law, where he served as an articles editor on the Law Review and was a member of the Raven Honor Society, a 2005 graduate of Wake Forest University, and a member of the Westminster Schools’ class of 2001.

Scotty IV is an active member of Peachtree Presbyterian Church, where he “performs” as a preschool Sunday School teacher, and also participates in the alumni associations of each of his alma maters.  Outside of the office, Scotty loves hiking the mountains of North Carolina and attending Atlanta United soccer games.  Scotty IV was made a partner with the firm in 2015 and currently serves as the Managing Partner.
